Cookie was a lovely pony. He was about 11hh and was a Welsh Mountain pony. He was the first pony I learnt to ride on and we had some great times together. He taught lots of children to ride and I know everyone down our stables loved him. I always wished that if I was allowed any pony that it would be Cookie.
He was cheeky and loved to escape from his field to get to the hay bales, and whenever someone tried to catch him, he would try and run away! (I can see you now, Cookie, in horsey heaven standing at a humungous hay bale with all your new friends!) I will never forget Cookie, as he was (and still is) the most special pony to me.

Cookie, I can't believe you're gone. I miss you lots and I wish I could see you one last time. You mean so much to me and so many other people and we are all glad that you're not suffering. I hope that you are having a lovely time galloping around in horsey heaven and if you by any chance happen to run into Grandad, please tell him I miss him and love him too =].
